There is a variety of resources available to help you obtain material for your IAG library.
Reference books and catalogues
CIOLA Directory (CRAC/Hobsons) - annual priced publication, which is thoroughly researched and includes:
Recommended resources (especially in the areas of special needs and careers education)
The latest contact details (including Connexions/careers centres and companies, plus FE and HE institutions)
A completely revised labour market information (LMI) section in light of the work related learning (WRL) agenda
Enhanced information about annually published directories
An expanded list of organisations under the CRCI headings
Catalogues - all major publishers and distribution companies produce catalogues of resources, which can be obtained free of charge (see contact details at bottom of page)
Free information
Many employer organisations, professional bodies and local employers will send information free of charge upon request.
The 'Download' section of this website contains a standard letter template and a set of address labels that can be used to request such information.

University prospectuses can be obtained from the Heist service which distributes prospectuses on behalf of all subscribing institutions. This service is free to recipients.

You will have to make direct requests for prospectuses from the institutions that do not subscribe to the Heist service.
